Horizontal Freezers

The horizontal plate freezer is very effective in block freezing and preserving portioned food products whilst providing easier handling when unloading and loading, transportation and storage. It is ideal for freezing in trays, cartons, and frames. The SFT horizontal freezer is widely renowned for its’ long-lasting construction with an ergonomic and hygienic design.

How does the horizontal freezer work?

The horizontal plate freezer consists of a number of horizontal evaporator plates, through which a cold refrigerant circulates. The products are placed in trays or boxes between the open plates, which are then closed to provide rapid double contact freezing. The unique advanced design of the evaporator plates maintains the same air temperature and airspeed through all evaporator plates, thus minimizing retention time for the food products to be frozen and reducing weight loss to generate a higher yield. The horizontal plate freezer is designed to meet the exact specifications based on actual food processing requirements.

The structure of the horizontal plate freezer is made of stainless steel. It has a high-pressure execution. There has different opening between freezing plates. There are different hydraulic executions. The horizontal plate freezers are mounted on steel framework, which reduces the installation time to minimum and helps to save your expenditure.

Amazing Freezing Speed

Aluminum alloy freezing plates press on two sides of products, with -35℃ refrigerant flowing through and evaporating, reduce half of the time required by air-blast freezing.

The self-contained type is a complete assembly of freezer and refrigeration system. The default refrigeration system is composed of single stage compressor units with water-cooled system. Special requests for other types of refrigeration system should be issued in case the customer needs a custom configuration.
