Mechanical Freezers (IQFs) > Plate Freezers
Our vertical plate freezers are typically applied to the bulk freezing of ground products. It is a fast and easy way to form frozen blocks of food with minimal handling. The products can be poured or pumped directly into the freezer. Fast and convenient loading & unloading make the vertical plate freezer a popular choice for high production environments.
REQUEST A QUOTEThe vertical plate freezer enables rapid freezing of raw food products through its direct contact freezing, which provides a significant energy saving and reduces freezing time over traditional air blast freezers.
The vertical Plate Freezer contains a number of evaporator plates which are mounted vertically, by which refrigerant runs. The products are simply placed or poured into vertical pockets between the aluminum freezing plates and are frozen as blocks. After freezing, the frozen blocks can be unloaded by mechanical means onto a conveyor system or palletize or manually straight onto pallets. The cost is saved because there the products don’t need to be packed and therefore time is also saved.
The vertical plate freezers have the design for easy cleaning system to maintain a hygienic environment there. As the vertical plate freezers have all the fixing and fittings made of stainless steel, daily cleaning and washing is not an issue. The vertical plate freezers are designed to meet the user’s exact need based on food processing requirement.

Notes:
1. The nominal freezing capacity is calculated on the basis of freezing fish of 20 ~ 25 kgs/block with standard size of 525mm×530mm×75mm (or 100mm).
2. The refrigeration capacity is based on condensing temperature at +35℃ and evaporating temperature at -35℃.
3. The freezing time is about 90 ~ 210 minutes per batch which based on product inlet temperature at +15℃ and outlet core temperature at -18℃. The freezing time differs because of different products.
4. Special requests should be issued in case the customer needs a custom configuration.
