The block ice machine with the direct evaporation system works by the principle of direct heat exchange between the water and refrigerant. Comparing with the brine refrigeration system, the direct evaporation system does not apply brine water as the cold medium to transport the heat. Meanwhile, we adopt the aeronautical aluminum alloy as the ice evaporator material, which has higher heat conductivity than the ferrous materials, therefore the ice formation and harvest efficiencies are greatly improved when we use the aluminum evaporator.
Meanwhile, The aeronautical aluminum evaporator has a better anti-corrosion ability than ferrous materials, the hygiene of the ice can be guaranteed. And also because of no direct contact between water and the refrigeration medium, there has no chance to contaminate the ice.
